
Global Chapter Digital Community Manager & Social Media Coordinator
Singularity Education Group is a benefit corporation headquartered at NASA Research Park in Silicon Valley. SU provides educational programs, innovative partnerships and a startup accelerator to help individuals, businesses, institutions, investors, NGOs and governments understand cutting-edge technologies and how to utilize these technologies to positively impact billions of people. Starting in late 2020, I worked as their Global Chapter Digital Community Manager and Social Media Coordinator. Read on to learn more about my role and responsibilities:
- Point person for the development of the Membership Product, “Chapters 3.0.” This includes building, managing and maintaining playbooks and operational workflows, including training materials for Global Ambassadors and Community Managers
- Manages over 60 Singularity Chapter communities in 35 countries worldwide
- Partners cross-functionally with Partners, Content, Community, Sales, Marketing and Startup teams to support Singularity sales opportunities and bring the Chapter Program to a standard that is on brand and aligned with quarterly OKRs
- Plans and tracks development schedule to ensure timely completion meeting calendar deadlines
- Ensures clear and timely communication of necessary product information to internal & external partners
- Leads and maintains strategic Chapters partnerships with outside organizations including but not limited to Mighty Networks, Internet of Senses, Center for Humane Technology, and more
- Strategizes and implements strategic partnerships between Chapter communities and both internal and external organizations (Partners, Singularity HQ, Bellevue College, Center for Humane Technology, etc)
- Ongoing creation and curation of discussion-driving content (including relevant resources, articles, questions, member stories, etc) related to our shared mission
- Manages and engages Singularity Group public facing social channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter)
- Assists with copywriting content for SU social channels
- Stewards and integrates new community members into digital Chapter community spaces
- Creates meaningful opportunities for ongoing connections among community members.
- Enforces the Community Guidelines and maintain the safety of our community through our established protocols
- Identifies and elevates prospective Experts, Investors, Clients, Customers and other potential high-level collaborators and/or stakeholders
